Terrelle Pryor Update: Former Ohio State Star Now In Stable Condition At Hospital

Former Ohio State star quarterback Terrelle Pryor was reportedly stabbed in both the chest and shoulder early Saturday morning in an apartment complex in Pittsburgh. The latest update suggests his recovery is trending in the right direction.

Pryor reportedly needed surgery and was considered to be in critical condition just a few hours ago. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport now says that Pryor is in stable condition. Obviously, that’s great news.

Earlier Saturday, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that Pryor’s family expects him to survive the stabbing. An unidentified female was arrested in connection with the crime.

It’s still unclear what led to Pryor’s stabbing.

Pryor was a star quarterback at Ohio State and eventually wound up in the NFL – mostly as a wide receiver. He signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars this past May but was released from the roster in August.

Pryor’s best season came in 2016 when he caught 77 passes for 1,007 yards and four touchdowns while playing for the Cleveland Browns.

We’ll keep you updated on Pryor’s status. Hopefully he’s able to make a full recovery.
