On Saturday night, the Nebraska Cornhuskers took the field against the Minnesota Gophers without starting quarterback Adrian Martinez.
Unfortunately for the Huskers, the injury news didn’t stop there.
Star freshman Wan’Dale Robinson left the game with an apparent lower leg injury in the first quarter. He immediately went into the medical tent to get checked out by the Nebraska medical staff.
After an examination, the medical staff decided to cart him off the field completely and take him into the locker room.
Wan’Dale Robinson came out of the medical tent and was put on a cart for a ride to the locker room. Not a good sign for the talented #Huskers freshman.

It’s awful news for a Nebraska program that needs every offense weapon they can get.
Robinson is a do-it-all player for the Huskers on offense. He’s currently second on the team in receiving yards and third in rushing yards.
He’s arguably the most electric player on the field at all times, so it’s a huge loss for the Huskers.
Nebraska is struggling without its two best offensive players in the game. After nearly one half of play, Minnesota holds a 14-0 lead over the Huskers.
Backup quarterback Noah Vedral will need to find some magic if Nebraska wants to walk out with a win.
Stay tuned for the latest from the game and an official announcement from the school on Robinson.
