After a summer that Kieran Trippier left Tottenham Hotspur to move to Atletico Madrid, fans urge Jose Mourinho to invest in a new right-back.
It’s been two and a half years since Kyle Walker left Spurs for Manchester City. Serge Aurier was signed by Paris Saint-Germain as the successor to the England international.
Kyle Walker-Peters under Mauricio Pochettino in Tottenham turned out to be a possible solution to the right-back problem. Davinson Sanchez, Juan Foyth and Moussa Sissoko were also asked to fill the role in various positions.
However, the transfer market must be where Mourinho finds the player who takes Trippier’s place, not the academy or the existing team.

After Youcef Atal suffered a knee injury that could rule him out for the rest of the season, Spurs will have to look at other goals if they want to sign a full-back in January.
Brendan Rodgers, manager of Leicester City, has ruled out that one of his most important players leaves the club in the transfer window in winter, which also makes a change for Ricardo Pereira unlikely.

Real Madrid’s versatile full-back Achraf Hakimi can play right, left and even as a central defender, but since he’s on loan from Borussia Dotmund, the 21-year-old is another favorite this summer.
However, Norwich City’s Max Aarons could be an option – though probably an expensive one.
