Slumping Cody Bellinger blasts two homers to lead Dodgers over Angels

ANAHEIM — In a game featuring five former MVPs, two of the three on the Dodgers’ side did most of the damage to beat the Angels.

Slumping Cody Bellinger hit a pair of two-run homers and Clayton Kershaw gave up one hit in seven innings, leading the Dodgers to a 7-4 victory in the first game of the Freeway Series on Friday night.

With the victory, the Dodgers pulled into first place in the National League West.
