Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes that the calendar of holiday games should change due to the unfair physical and mental cost of the players.
Only 48 hours and 25 minutes after concluding a 4-1 return victory against Newcastle, the Red Devils will begin their last 2019 Premier League game at Burnley.
Those matches are part of a series of seven United games in 21 days during a period that may be traditional but seems dated given the focus on physical and mental well-being.

Liverpool chief Jurgen Klopp recently said that it is “a crime” that teams have to play on both December 26 and 28, with Solskjaer equally upset about the continuation of such programming, even if he thinks his players can leave of the step.
“I don’t think it’s fair for children,” said the United manager. “I don’t think it’s fair to expect you to perform at the best level, both mentally and physically, 48 hours after playing.
