After weeks of speculation, Mikel Arteta was finally introduced as the new head coach at Arsenal on Friday.
Three weeks after Unai Emery’s release, and about 18 months after Arteta was selected for Emery for the top job in the Emirates, the former skipper was appointed head coach.
And he has a great job in his hands.
Arteta was in the stands when the Gunners scored a 0-0 draw with Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon and will do his second boss training on Monday morning.
Arsenal looked more solid in the second leg against the Toffees and they managed to stay clean with Arteta for the first time since early October.

Defense will be a problematic position that Gunners supporters are keen to create for the new boss in the short term, as they are looking for a team to move into the top half of the table and be a late challenge for the top four.
Arteta knows he has work to do, as his meeting with the video analytics department when he arrived in London Colney on Friday shows.
