On Thursday night, the San Francisco 49ers traveled to Arizona for a divisional matchup against the Cardinals.
San Francisco has been one of the most surprising teams in the NFL and remains just one of two unbeaten teams in the league.
The 49ers entered Thursday night’s game as a 10-point favorite. However, the
Cardinals have made it clear they’re here to play.
On Arizona’s first drive of the game, the team raced down the field and opened a 7-0 lead on a touchdown from new running back Kenyan Drake.
Things got even worse for the 49ers on their first offensive possession. Star tight end George Kittle took a helmet to his knee and appeared to hyperextend his left knee.

Kittle’s knee clearly hyperextends, but it’s difficult to determine the extent of the damage at this point.
He immediately went to the ground holding the knee and was looked at by the team’s medical staff before he limped off the field.
The star tight end went into the medical tent, but was seen trying to jog on the sideline. San Francisco has battled several injuries this year and the last thing the team needs is one to Kittle.
Stay tuned for the latest on Kittle.
